Castrol oils are easy to obtain on line etc I have been using the old castrol oils that was originally used in early Holden’s it appears to be better as oil pressure has improved at idle up by 5pri and quiter I can recommend the products available also the help and knowledge is good thanks Michael.

I was having issues with lack of oil pressure on start up in my HK Holden 186’S’ engine due hydraulic lifter “leak back” after a prolonged period sitting idle. I spoke to Michael about the formulation of Castrol Classic 20w50 for vintage and classic engines and decided to give it a run. I was pleased when the oil pressure came up within a couple of seconds even after the car had been idle for a week or more. I have been using Castrol Classic 20w50 ever since.
